Inviting path into Whalesborough Wood from Bude Canal.  North Cornwall.

 

One of our favourite walks is from Widemouth Bay, along the Bude Canal to Bude, then back over the cliff path to Widemouth.  This little path is off the canal heading into Whalesborough Wood and  an area of permissive paths and trails.  We've never explored the trails, usually sticking to the canal path but maybe next time...

A light dusting of snow shows the way ahead.

The small copse is just off the South Downs Way near the Newmarket Plantation and the "Juggs Road" track. Taken whilst walking the dogs during a weekend trip to Sussex visiting family and friends.
