A Spring favourite.

Last few

42/365

The last of the crocus catching the last of the afternoon sunshine.

13th March 2013

Daffodils

41/365

Poor daffs, one minute the sun is shining and they are beaming upwards, the next they are flattened by frost with heads bowed.

They still struggle on!

6th March 2013

Open Wide

34/365

It won't be long now before the Snowdrops disappear until next year, so please forgive another  snowdrop shot.

20th February 2013

The Promise

20/365

The first daffodil (almost!) and the promise that Spring is just round the corner.

There are other daffodils nearby in bloom but this is the first of ours to appear.

19th February 2013

Spiderlike

19/365

Spidery, skeleton of a Giant Hogweed.

16th February 2013

Twins

16/365

Crocus twins from the same bulb.  Two for the price of one!

11th February 2013

Starburst

11/365

Frosty teasel seed heads this morning.

We've not had the snow that the rest of the country has recently been having (which is a shame as I LOVE the snow!) so will have to make do with frost which we do get from time to time!

After the Rain

10/365
Raindrops cling to the remains of Woody Nightshade.

I would just like to point out that as it more or less rains here every day "After the Rain" could be quite a popular theme!
